If you want to know the UTME 2019 requirements needed at the JAMB centre for candidates, the only thing you need is your reprinted JAMB exam slip.

Recall that JAMB had banned the use of some items in CBT centres.

It had maintained that no candidate would be allowed to come into the exam hall with electronic devices and writing materials.

The Board said devices like mobile phones, calculators, wristwatches, recorders and storage devices won’t be allowed into any of its centres by candidates during the examination.

It also prohibited the use of spy reading glasses, cameras, ear piece, bluetooth devices, USB, CD, hard disk, storage devices, pen/biro, smart lenses, books or any reading/writing material, ink/pen readers, key holders, ATM cards, erasers and smart rings/jewelries.

However, we advise you to go to the exam with paper and pencil if you would need them.

We’ve heard stories of candidates who were stranded in the exam hall because JAMB did not provide them with paper and pencil. This would surely affect their performance.

Be ready to lose your paper and pencil if they are eventually seized since they are banned items.

You don’t need a calculator because it’s built into the CBT software you’ll use. It’s however necessary that you should know how to use it ahead of time. That’s why mock CBT is very important to help you have a feel of the CBT environment.

We wish you success in your 2019 UTME.
