We’re aware that some candidates currently have issues like wrong name or a different name appearing on their profile in the ongoing JAMB 2019 registration.
Others have lost their profile code and need to recover it while a few others have issues resetting their password.
So, if you’ve any of the problems above, choose any of the following self care options that best addresses your issue.
How to correct a mistake in your name
- To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, send the [CORRECT
Surname First-Name Middle-Name] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number
You should also choose this option if someone else’s name is appearing on your profile instead of yours.
How to recover profile code
- To retrieve a lost profile code, send [RESEND] to 55019 as text
message from the same mobile number
How to reset password
- To reset lost or forgotten profile password, send [password] space [email address] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number
For ALL complaints on JAMB 2019 processes, candidates can create a support ticket at (support.jamb.gov.ng) with his/her email address registered on the Board’s website.
The candidate then provides his/her name, phone number and the nature of issue, select a complaint area on a drop down menu and then summarise the nature of complaint.
He or she may also attach supporting documents (if available) and then send.
