The 2016 Volunteers of the Social Investment Programme of the Nigerian Government, N-Power have finally started to receive their N-Power stipend for the month of December amid wild jubilations.
The beneficiaries took to social media to express their happiness and pledged their unflinching support for the Federal Government.
Uncertainties had surrounded the fate of the 2016 N-Power Beneficiaries in recent times because of rumours that the first phase of the Programme was winding up.
This forced the 2016 Volunteers to vent their anger and frustration over the development and requested N-Power to address the issue.
In a swift response, the Federal Government announced an enhancement programme and said that the 2016 N-Power Volunteers would continue to work and get paid.
However, tension heightened when the 2016 Volunteers could not get their December stipend when the 2017 Beneficiaries did before the Christmas celebration.
N-Power later assured them that it would pay their December stipend.
