President Muhammadu Buhari today received Osun State Governor-Elect, Gboyega Oyetola who visited him at the State House, Abuja.

Oyetola was accompanied on the visit by the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Adams Oshiomhole.

“President @MBuhari receives the State of Osun Governor-Elect, Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, accompanied by APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomole today at the State House, Abuja,” according to a statement released by the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.

Oyetola was declared winner of the September 22, 2018 governorship election in Osun State. He ran on the platform of the APC.

Meanwhile, Buhari is currently in a meeting with the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF Anyim Pius Anyim.

“President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with Sen. Ayim Pius Ayim, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,” Ahmad added, without providing further details.

Anyim was the SGF during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan of the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
